About the Role

Our client, a fast-growing movie production company, is seeking a proactive HSE Officer to oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance on set and across production activities. The ideal candidate will ensure a safe working environment for cast, crew, and production staff, while promoting a strong safety culture during filming and events.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce safety policies and procedures specific to film production sets

• Conduct risk assessments and identify hazards on location, in studios, and during shoots

• Monitor compliance with local HSE regulations and production-specific safety standards

• Provide safety briefings, inductions, and training to cast and crew

• Investigate incidents, accidents, or near-misses, and recommend corrective actions

• Maintain accurate HSE records and reports throughout the production

• Support emergency preparedness and response plans for on-set incidents

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Safety Management, Engineering, or related field

• 2+ years of experience in HSE, preferably in entertainment, events, or production environments

• Relevant HSE certifications (NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent)

• Knowledge of film set operations and potential safety risks in production

• Strong observation, reporting, and communication skills

• Ability to enforce safety standards in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
