ABOUT THE JOB: In this role, you will manage and grow relationships with major retail chains and high-value customers, identifying opportunities to expand sales, improve visibility, and increase market share. You will work closely with internal teams and account stakeholders to develop and execute tailored sales strategies, promotional plans, and commercial agreements that drive mutual success. Your insights into market trends, customer behaviour and competitor activity will inform strategic decisions.
Success in this role requires a proactive minded professional who thrives on building long-term partnerships, influencing decision-makers, and delivering measurable results. You will act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring flawless execution of agreements, promotions, and campaigns. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential, as you will represent the company in presentations, business reviews, and trade events. Your ability to combine strategic thinking with operational excellence will be critical to driving sustainable growth in this role.
Principal Duties / Responsibilities:
Sales and Revenue Growth
- Deliver agreed sales value and volume targets.
- Drive approved product listings and assortment optimisation.Identify opportunities to grow share within assigned accounts.

Account Acquisition and Relationship Management:
- Identify potential supermarket chains for partnership and effectively secure new accounts.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing accounts, understanding their business needs and operational processes.
- Develop and implement joint business plans that align with the supermarkets' goals and our company's objectives.
Compliance and Execution Control:
- Ensure all sales and in-store activities comply with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor pricing, visibility, and product placement in line with approved guidelines.
Product Availability and Distribution:
- Ensure consistent stock availability across all assigned outlets.
- Work with supply chain and field teams to prevent stock-outs.
- Support accurate demand planning and replenishment.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in key account management within FMCG or retail distribution.
- Proven success in product launches and growth in modern trade channels.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word
