Role Overview
The Account Executive will support the finance function by managing day-to-day accounting operations, financial records, and statutory compliance. Reporting directly to the CFO, the role requires strong accounting fundamentals, attention to detail, and hands-on experience in audit support, reconciliations, taxation, and payroll administration.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of transactions

Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner

Support internal and external audit processes, including preparation of schedules and audit queries

Handle tax computations, statutory deductions, and regulatory filings

Manage payroll administration and ensure accurate salary processing

Prepare periodic financial reports and management schedules as required

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies

Utilize accounting software and spreadsheets to track and analyze financial data

Assist the CFO with budgeting support, expense monitoring, and financial analysis

Liaise with banks, auditors, and regulatory bodies when required
Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline

ICAN qualification or progress toward certification is an added advantage
Required Skills & Competencies

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

Hands-on experience with auditing processes and bank reconciliation

Proficiency in SAGE accounting software and Microsoft Excel

Good knowledge of tax computation and payroll administration

High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, on-site environment

Good communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience

3–5 years relevant accounting experience, preferably within investment, financial services, or structured corporate environments

Proven experience supporting CFO-level functions is an added advantage
