About the Job
You will lead the full marketing strategy for a movie project, ensuring audience anticipation, engagement, and commercial success from pre-production through release. You will be responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns, managing brand identity, overseeing marketing teams, and maintaining social media presence throughout the project timeline.
You must be a strategic marketing leader with strong experience in entertainment or digital marketing, capable of driving measurable results, building strong partnerships, and managing a fast-paced production marketing environment.

Principal Duties/ Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing Leadership
- Develop a comprehensive marketing strategy for the movie project, covering pre-production, production, release, and post-release phases.
- Define target audience segments, positioning, key messaging, and marketing objectives.
- Create detailed marketing plans with timelines, budgets, and success metrics.
- Lead and mentor the marketing team, ensuring alignment with production goals.
- Anticipate risks and develop contingency plans.
Brand Development & Management
- Establish and enforce the movie brand identity, including visual language, tone, and messaging framework.
- Ensure consistent brand application across all digital, print, and experiential touchpoints.
- Oversee development of key brand assets (logos, graphics, trailers, posters, and promotional materials).
- Develop and manage merchandise strategy and rollout.
Campaign Strategy & Execution
- Design and oversee integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels (digital, PR, events, partnerships).
- Coordinate pre-launch teasers, official announcements, and ongoing engagement campaigns.
- Manage campaign timelines and ensure deliverables are executed on schedule and to standard.
- Track campaign performance and optimize in real time.
Digital Marketing & Social Media
- Oversee digital marketing strategy across Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, and emerging platforms.
- Direct content creation, community management, and engagement optimisation.
- Plan and execute paid social media campaigns with clear targeting and budget allocation.
- Develop influencer and partnership strategies.
- Track digital metrics and adjust strategies based on data insights.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Attend production meetings and maintain alignment with project goals.
- Report marketing progress, challenges, and wins to the Production Control Lead.
- Collaborate with the Executive Producer and Director on key announcements and creative decisions.
- Coordinate promotional activities with cast, talent, and partners.
Job Requirements
- Bachelors' degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years progressive marketing experience within the filmmaking, entertainment, or media production industry
- Proven track record in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns with measurable results.
- Experience managing marketing budgets and ROI-driven campaigns.
- Strong strategic thinking and leadership capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong proficiency in digital marketing tools, analytics, and campaign management platforms.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
