Role Summary
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support daily accounting operations and ensure accurate financial record-keeping. The successful candidate will assist with financial reporting, reconciliations, transaction processing, and compliance activities while contributing to the efficiency of the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting Operations

• Record and process financial transactions accurately and promptly.
• Maintain accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with bank, customer, and supplier account reconciliations.

Financial Reporting

• Support the preparation of monthly financial reports and schedules.
• Assist with journal entries, ledger maintenance, and month-end closing activities.
• Ensure the accuracy of financial data and documentation.

Compliance & Controls

• Support tax documentation and statutory compliance activities.
• Maintain compliance with internal financial policies and accounting procedures.
• Assist during internal and external audit exercises.

Administrative Support

• Process invoices, expense claims, and payment requests.
• Maintain organized financial records for easy retrieval.
• Perform other finance-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably within the manufacturing, FMCG, or related industry.
• Practical application of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
