Role Overview

Our client is seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth, strategic partnerships, and market expansion. This role is critical to strengthening the resorts commercial performance while preserving its luxury positioning.


The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in hospitality business development, with a strong understanding of resort dynamics, leisure travel, corporate retreats, and premium events. This role goes beyond sales execution and requires strategic thinking, relationship leadership, and commercial intelligence.


Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Revenue Growth

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with the resorts revenue and brand objectives.
  • Identify and grow high-value revenue streams including leisure travel, corporate offsites, retreats, weddings, private events, and group bookings.
  • Monitor market trends, seasonality, and competitor activity to optimise pricing, packages, and commercial decisions.

Strategic Partnerships

  • Build and manage strong relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, corporates, event planners, luxury brands, and lifestyle partners.
  • Negotiate partnership agreements that drive sustainable revenue while protecting brand equity and margins.
  • Act as a key representative of the resort at industry events, networking engagements, and private showcases.

Corporate & Group Business

  • Drive corporate and group bookings from lead generation through contract closure.
  • Collaborate closely with operations and guest experience teams to ensure seamless delivery of premium stays and events.
  • Maintain strong post-booking relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Brand Alignment & Market Positioning

  • Ensure all business development activities are aligned with the resorts luxury brand standards and guest experience promise.
  • Work closely with marketing teams to support campaigns, partnerships, and brand visibility initiatives.
  • Provide market insights and client feedback to support continuous improvement of offerings.

Reporting & Performance Management

  • Track and manage BD pipelines, conversion rates, and revenue performance.
  • Prepare regular performance reports for senior management.
  • Deliver on agreed revenue, occupancy, and partnership KPIs.


Qualification Requirements

  • Minimum of 3–5 years experience in Business Development, Partnerships, or Commercial roles within luxury hospitality, hotels, resorts, travel, or lifestyle brands.
  • Proven track record of closing high-value deals and strategic partnerships.
  • Strong understanding of resort operations, leisure travel behaviour, and premium customer expectations.
