Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Bar Assistant to support daily bar operations by ensuring the bar is clean, organized, and adequately stocked at all times. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of beverage preparation, maintain high hygiene standards, and be able to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist bartenders with beverage preparation and service
• Set up and restock the bar before, during, and after service
• Prepare basic ingredients such as syrups, garnishes, and mixers
• Ensure glassware, ice, and bar supplies are readily available
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, equipment, and workstations
• Follow hygiene, food safety, and operational standards
• Assist with stock handling and adhere to FIFO procedures
• Support the team during peak service periods
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude

Requirements

• Minimum qualification: ND
• Basic knowledge of cocktails, mocktails, and bar operations
• Previous hospitality or bar experience is an added advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Ability to work weekends, public holidays, and late shifts
• Knowledge of hygiene and safety standards
