Client Overview
Our client is a rapidly growing climate technology company dedicated to transforming agricultural waste into sustainable environmental solutions.
By partnering with agro-processing facilities, the organization develops innovative carbon removal projects that create new revenue opportunities for industrial partners while supporting global sustainability and climate goals.
As part of its expansion strategy across Nigeria and Africa, the company is seeking an experienced Business Development Consultant to build strategic partnerships with agro-processing businesses and accelerate commercial growth.
Role Summary
The Partnership Consultant will drive strategic partnerships with agro-processing companies by leveraging industry relationships to identify qualified opportunities, expand referral networks, and generate new business.
The successful candidate will engage senior decision-makers, build long-term partnerships, and contribute directly to the organization's commercial growth objectives.
This role is for a high-level partnership professional who already has those relationships, or who can build them faster. He/She job is to open doors, make introductions, and move qualified partners into our pipeline. You have to be someone with connections, credibility, and the drive to execute this.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Strategic Partnerships

What this role is not;
- This is not a marketing or content role — you will not be writing posts or managing channels
- This is not a management role — there is no team under you to start; you must be comfortable executing alone
- This is not a cold outreach role — if your network requires starting from scratch at every factory, this is not the right fit
- This is not a salaried do-nothing role — output is tracked weekly; 3 qualified factory intros and 5 referral sign-ups per week is the baseline, not the ceiling
