To support its aggressive revenue target of ₦1B, the firm is strengthening its commercial team with a Deputy Business Development Manager focused on corporate acquisition, account retention, and strategic market expansion.
Role Summary
The Deputy Business Development Manager supports the Business Development Manager in driving corporate sales, expanding market share, and ensuring high retention of existing accounts. The role requires strong B2B sales capability, deep understanding of HMO products, and the ability to manage key corporate relationships while contributing to the overall revenue target of ₦1B annually.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Business Development Manager in achieving the annual revenue target through corporate acquisition and retention strategies.
- Identify, prospect, and convert new corporate clients across diverse sectors.
- Manage and grow assigned corporate accounts, ensuring high satisfaction and renewal rates.
- Prepare and deliver compelling product presentations, proposals, and pitches to HR leaders, procurement teams, and executive decision-makers.
- Conduct needs assessments to recommend suitable health plans and customized solutions.
- Monitor client utilization patterns and collaborate with the medical and operations teams to resolve service issues promptly.
- Bachelors' degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Health Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years experience in business development, corporate sales, or account management within an HMO or insurance environment.
- Proven track record of contributing to significant revenue growth and corporate client acquisition.
- Experience managing large corporate accounts and supporting retention strategies.
