About the Client
Our client is a reputable and innovation-driven cybersecurity solutions provider supporting enterprise, financial services, and government organizations across Africa. They deliver advanced cyber defense, cloud security, SOC services, and digital protection solutions. To strengthen their commercial unit, they seek a smart, detail-driven Sales Support Officer to assist the Sales team with documentation, coordination, and client-facing materials.
About the Role
The Sales Support Officer works behind the scenes to ensure the sales team is organized, efficient, and equipped with the right tools and documents. The ideal candidate must have experience supporting a technical or cybersecurity/IT sales team coordinating proposals, preparing documents, handling inquiries, and ensuring smooth sales operations.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Documentation & Proposal Support

Draft and format proposals, quotations, capability statements, and basic technical documents.

Support RFP/RFI responses by gathering inputs from technical teams.

Prepare sales presentations and client pitches.
Sales Team Coordination

Assist the sales team with scheduling, meeting follow-ups, and documentation.

Maintain updated sales folders, templates, and product information.

Track client requests and ensure timely response from internal teams.
Client Support (Non-sales)

Handle initial client inquiries, qualify basic needs, and escalate to the proper technical or sales lead.

Coordinate demo requests, presentations, and onboarding sessions.
Reporting & Record Management

Maintain accurate records of proposals, deals, conversations, and submitted documents.

Prepare weekly sales activity reports and pipeline summaries.
Internal Collaboration

Work closely with cybersecurity engineers, product teams, and finance for accurate pricing and technical material.

Follow up with internal teams to ensure smooth flow of sales activities.
Requirements

BSc/HND in Business Administration, IT, Computer Science, Marketing, or related fields.

1-3 years experience in Sales Support or Commercial roles preferably in cybersecurity, IT, SaaS, or FinTech.

Excellent writing and documentation skills.

Strong eye for detail and accuracy.

Good knowledge of technical products or willingness to learn quickly.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Experience working with CRM tools (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce) is a plus.

Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
