Job Title: Structural Site Engineer

About the Role

The Structural Site Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing all structural engineering activities on construction sites. The ideal candidate will ensure that all structural works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, engineering standards, and safety regulations while maintaining project timelines and quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day structural construction activities on-site.

  • Ensure compliance with structural drawings, specifications, and approved methodologies.

  • Coordinate structural works with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.

  • Monitor and ensure quality control of materials used for structural works.

  • Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations.

  • Review and interpret structural drawings and provide technical guidance where necessary.

  • Ensure structural works are completed within schedule and budget.

  • Identify and resolve on-site technical challenges and structural defects.

  • Maintain accurate records of site activities, reports, and progress updates.

  • Ensure proper implementation of reinforcement, formwork, and concrete works.

  • Liaise with project managers and consultants on structural matters.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.

  • Minimum of 2–4 years of relevant site engineering experience.

  • Proven experience managing structural works on residential or commercial building projects.

  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies and structural detailing.

  • Knowledge of applicable building codes and safety standards.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other structural design software is an advantage.

  • Ability to read and interpret structural drawings accurately.

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
