ABOUT THE JOB: In this role, you will manage and grow relationships with major retail chains and high-value customers, identifying opportunities to expand sales, improve visibility, and increase market share. You will work closely with internal teams and account stakeholders to develop and execute tailored sales strategies, promotional plans, and commercial agreements that drive mutual success. Your insights into market trends, customer behaviour, and competitor activity will inform strategic decisions..

You will act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring flawless execution of agreements, promotions, and campaigns. Principal duties/Responsibilities:
Sales Volume and Distribution Growth
- Achieve sales targets for volume and revenue.
- Expand product availability and coverage in assigned accounts.
- Identify opportunities to increase sales within existing accounts.
Account acquisition and Relationship Management:
- Identify potential supermarket chains for partnership and effectively secure new accounts.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing accounts, understanding their business needs and operational processes.
- Develop and implement joint business plans that align with the supermarkets' goals and our company's objectives.
Compliance and Execution Control:
- Ensure all sales and in-store activities comply with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor pricing, visibility, and product placement in line with approved guidelines.
Stock Availability and Supply Coordination:
- Monitor stock levels and prevent out-of-stock situations.
- Assist field and supply chain teams with restocking and replenishment.
- Support accurate demand planning and timely deliveries.
Qualification/Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field
- 5 years experience in FMCG sales, food staples or commodity-based sales
- Experience managing modern trade and retail accounts
- Understanding of pricing-sensitive markets and trade promotions
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing both modern trade and retail outlets.
