Job Title: Senior AI Trainer – Accountants & Auditors (APAC/MEA & North America)

Location: Fully Remote

Eligible Regions: United States, Canada, Mexico, Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Pakistan, Vietnam, Egypt, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Turkey

Employment Type: Short-Term Contract (2 Months)

Work Schedule: Minimum of 4 hours per day (up to 40 hours per week) with at least 4 hours overlap with Pacific Standard Time (PST)

Compensation: USD $23 per hour

Role Overview
We are seeking seasoned Accountants and Auditors across APAC, MEA, and North America to serve as Senior AI Trainers, helping shape the next generation of advanced AI systems used in global finance and assurance environments. In this leadership‑level role, you will design, evaluate, and refine complex accounting and audit scenarios; review and elevate the work of other contributors; and ensure all outputs meet the highest standards of technical accuracy, professional rigor, and regional compliance expectations.

You will guide AI models to produce reliable, well‑reasoned, and practice‑aligned solutions across financial reporting, internal controls, compliance, risk assessment, and assurance engagements. As a senior expert, you will also influence rubric development, mentor junior trainers, and drive quality consistency across pods operating in diverse regulatory landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce high‑complexity accounting and audit tasks along with gold‑standard solutions that set the benchmark for pod quality and technical rigor.
  • Review, calibrate, and elevate the output of team members while maintaining exceptional quality and consistency in your own day‑to‑day work.
  • Identify and escalate true edge cases, rubric gaps, and ambiguous standards to the Functional SME Lead for clarification and alignment.
  • Ensure all scenarios, reasoning steps, and solutions reflect regional regulatory requirements, professional standards, and real‑world audit and accounting practice across APAC, MEA, and North America.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by mentoring junior trainers, refining task‑creation methodologies, and strengthening overall pod quality and analytical depth.

Requirements
Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent practical experience in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.

Professional Experience

  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in; Public Accounting, External Audit, Internal Audit, Financial Reporting, Corporate Accounting, Experience at Manager, Senior Manager, Director, or Industry Controller level.
  • Strong background in leading accounting or audit engagements and reviewing technical deliverables.

Professional Qualifications

  • One or more of the following professional certifications (CPA, CA, ACCA)

Additional certifications are an advantage:

  • CIA (Certified Internal Auditor)
  • CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in AI evaluation, content review, quality assurance, or data annotation is an advantage but not required.
  • Strong understanding of complex accounting standards and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to explain technical accounting concepts clearly.
  • Experience reviewing the work of accounting or audit teams in a leadership capacity.
