Role Summary
Our client is seeking a highly organized, commercially minded, and proactive GTM Chief of Staff to support business growth through strategic relationship management, founder-led outreach, and referral pipeline development.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring prospective partners, referral opportunities, and strategic conversations progress efficiently through the business development funnel. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on execution, stakeholder engagement, pipeline management, and driving opportunities from introduction to conversion.


Key Responsibilities
Founder Outreach & Relationship Management

  • Manage and coordinate outbound engagement activities on behalf of company leadership.
  • Maintain active communication with prospective partners, industry stakeholders, and referral networks.
  • Respond promptly to inbound opportunities and ensure consistent follow-up.
  • Support executive visibility through strategic engagement across professional networking platforms.
  • Assist with outbound prospecting initiatives and contact discovery efforts.

Referral Pipeline Management

  • Generate and manage a consistent flow of qualified referral conversations.
  • Execute structured follow-up activities to move prospects through the engagement process.
  • Share relevant business information, presentations, and commercial materials with prospective partners.
  • Coordinate meetings and introductory discussions between qualified prospects and company leadership.
  • Ensure no qualified opportunity is lost due to delayed communication or poor follow-through.

Lead Qualification & CRM Management

  • Conduct introductory discovery conversations with prospective partners and clients.
  • Assess opportunities against predefined business and operational criteria.
  • Gather, document, and maintain accurate prospect information within CRM systems.
  • Develop and maintain organized prospect databases and opportunity pipelines.

Business Development & Onboarding Support

  • Coordinate activities required to move opportunities from qualification to commercial engagement.
  • Support financial modeling, information gathering, and business case preparation where required.
  • Facilitate internal coordination for meetings, site visits, and stakeholder engagements.
  • Monitor pipeline health and proactively identify stalled opportunities.
  • Provide regular updates on pipeline performance and conversion activities.

Reporting & Performance Tracking

  • Maintain accurate records of outreach, engagement, and conversion metrics
  • Generate periodic reports on pipeline performance and business development activities.
  • Track key performance indicators and provide recommendations for process improvement.
  • Ensure CRM data integrity and reporting accuracy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Agriculture, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in business development, sales operations, founder's office, partnerships, customer success, consulting, or a similar growth-focused role.
  • Experience managing CRM systems and business development pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of stakeholder management and relationship-building practices.
  • Experience supporting executive-level business development activities is an advantage.
  • Interest in agriculture, climate technology, sustainability, or carbon markets is desirable.
