Role Summary
The Research Analyst will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide actionable insights that supports project execution, and strategic initiatives. The successful candidate will conduct market research, industry analysis, competitor assessments, and data-driven reporting to assist internal stakeholders and clients in achieving their objectives.


The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, highly analytical, and possesses strong research, writing, and problem-solving skills.


Key Responsibilities
Research & Data Collection

  • Conduct primary and secondary research across various industries and markets.
  • Gather, validate, and organize quantitative and qualitative data from multiple sources.
  • Monitor industry developments, market trends, and emerging opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate research databases and information repositories.

Market & Industry Analysis

  • Analyze market dynamics, consumer behavior, competitor activities, and industry performance.
  • Identify key trends, risks, and growth opportunities that may impact business decisions.
  • Conduct benchmarking and comparative analysis to support strategic planning.
  • Develop insights that support business development and operational initiatives.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Interpret complex data sets and transform findings into meaningful insights.
  • Prepare research reports, presentations, dashboards, and executive summaries.
  • Develop recommendations based on research findings and analytical outcomes.
  • Present findings clearly to stakeholders and management teams.

Project Support

  • Support consulting, business development, and strategic projects with relevant research inputs.
  • Assist in feasibility studies, business case development, and market assessments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes.
  • Ensure timely delivery of research assignments and project deliverables.

Knowledge Management

  • Maintain a repository of research materials, reports, and market intelligence resources.
  • Support the development of thought leadership content and industry publications.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of research methodologies and analytical frameworks.

Requirements

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree or Masters in Economics, Statistics, Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
  • First Class Degree is an added advantage
  • ACA or CFA is an added advantage

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in research, business analysis, market intelligence, project management roles, preferably within project management consulting environment
  • Experience conducting market research and data analysis is highly desirable.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Familiarity with research tools, databases, and data visualization platforms is an advantage.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative research capabilities.
