Work Schedule: Minimum of 4 hours per day (up to 40 hours per week) with at least 4 hours overlap with Pacific Standard Time (PST)

Role Overview
We are seeking highly experienced Actuaries across APAC and MEA to serve as Senior AI Trainers, contributing to the development of advanced AI systems used in insurance, pensions, risk management, and financial‑modelling environments. In this senior role, you will design, evaluate, and refine complex actuarial scenarios—spanning pricing, reserving, capital modelling, experience studies, regulatory reporting, and enterprise risk management. You will also review and elevate the work of other contributors, ensuring all outputs meet the highest standards of technical accuracy, methodological rigor, and regional regulatory compliance.
Your expertise will guide AI models to produce reliable, defensible, and practice‑aligned actuarial reasoning across life, health, general insurance, and pension domains. As a senior trainer, you will influence rubric development, mentor junior team members, and help establish consistent quality across pods operating in diverse APAC and MEA markets with varying regulatory frameworks and product landscapes.
This role is ideal for seasoned actuarial professionals who want to combine deep analytical expertise with emerging AI technologies—and play a pivotal role in shaping intelligent tools that support actuaries and risk professionals across the globe.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce high‑complexity actuarial tasks and gold‑standard solutions across pricing, reserving, capital modelling, experience studies, and risk management, setting the benchmark for pod quality.
- Review, calibrate, and elevate the work of other trainers, ensuring consistent technical accuracy, methodological rigor, and adherence to regional regulatory standards across APAC and MEA.
- Identify and escalate genuine edge cases, ambiguous rubric criteria, and methodological gaps to the Functional SME Lead for clarification and alignment.
- Ensure all scenarios and solutions reflect real‑world actuarial practice, including appropriate assumptions, defensible modelling logic, and compliance with local regulatory frameworks.
- Mentor junior contributors, refine task‑creation frameworks, and drive continuous improvement to strengthen overall pod performance and AI capability in actuarial domains.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent practical experience in Actuarial Science.
Professional Experience
- Minimum of 8 years of actuarial experience across life insurance, property and casualty, health
- insurance, pensions, or actuarial consulting.
Preferred Technical Competence
- Recognized actuarial credential such as SOA ASA/FSA, CAS ACAS/FCAS, IFoA Fellowship, or an equivalent regional qualification.
- Expert-level knowledge of reserving methodologies, reserve adequacy assessment, loss‑development techniques, and actuarial valuation practices.
- Strong proficiency in product pricing, profitability analysis, risk modelling, forecasting, and scenario testing across life, health, and general insurance lines.
- Proven ability to set, validate, and challenge actuarial assumptions using credible data sources, professional judgment, and applicable regulatory standards.
