Job Summary
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic client acquisition, relationship management, and deal closure within the real estate sector. The role focuses on identifying high-value opportunities, converting prospects into buyers or investors, and expanding the company's client portfolio.
The ideal candidate is a strong closer with deep knowledge of the real estate market, excellent negotiation skills, and a proven ability to generate and convert leads into sales.
Key Responsibilities
Business Growth & Client Acquisition
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the real estate market
- Source and engage high-net-worth individuals, investors, and corporate clients
- Generate qualified leads through networking, referrals, and strategic outreach
- Conduct client meetings, property presentations, and site inspections
Sales & Deal Closure
- Drive end-to-end sales processes from prospecting to closing
- Negotiate terms and successfully close property transactions
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Manage sales pipeline effectively using CRM tools where applicable
Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and investors
- Provide tailored property investment solutions based on client needs
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business
Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies
- Provide regular sales performance reports to management
- Identify new opportunities for business expansion and revenue growth
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Estate Management, or related field
- 3–6 years proven experience in real estate sales or business development
- Strong track record of closing high-value deals
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Strong understanding of the Lagos real estate market
- Ability to work independently in a target-driven environment
- Proficiency in managing sales pipelines and client relationships
