About the Role
The Senior Brand Manager will have end-to-end responsibility for brand strategy, execution, and performance across one or more core product categories. The role requires a strong balance of strategic thinking, consumer insight, commercial acumen, and execution excellence within a fast-paced FMCG environment.
This role reports into senior commercial leadership and plays a key role in driving brand growth, market share, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive brand strategy, positioning, and long-term growth plans
- Lead annual brand planning, budget management, and execution tracking
- Manage brand P&L elements including pricing, promotions, and trade spend
- Lead consumer insights, market research, and brand health tracking
- Develop and execute ATL, BTL, and digital marketing campaigns
- Collaborate with Sales, Trade Marketing, Supply Chain, and R&D teams
- Drive new product development (NPD) and product renovation initiatives
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and category performance
- Manage agencies and external partners (creative, media, research)
- Coach and mentor junior brand/marketing team members
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
- 8–12 years experience in FMCG marketing, with 3–5 years at Brand Manager / Senior Brand Manager level
- Strong experience in personal care, oral care, hair care, or related FMCG categories
- Proven track record of managing large brands and marketing budgets
- Strong understanding of consumer insights, brand equity, and go-to-market strategy
- Experience working in a multinational FMCG organization is highly preferred
