About the Job

The IT Support Officer will be responsible for providing technical support, maintaining IT systems, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the companys technology infrastructure. The role requires a proactive professional who can troubleshoot issues quickly and support business continuity across all departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first- and second-level technical support to staff across the organization

• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and peripherals

• Monitor and maintain servers, networks, and internet connectivity

• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues

• Ensure data security, system backups, and adherence to IT policies

• Support core insurance applications and business systems

• Liaise with vendors and service providers for IT-related issues

Requirements

• 4–5 years of proven experience in IT support or a similar role

• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, networking, and troubleshooting

• Experience supporting enterprise or business applications (insurance systems is an advantage)

• Good understanding of IT security and data protection practices

• HND/Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• Relevant IT certifications will be an added advantage
